Our residential architecture studio focuses on seamlessly integrating modern design with local landscapes. To support our growing portfolio of homes, we are seeking a highly meticulous Architect to join our team.

Architect
Role Description:
This role encompasses the complete architectural process. As an integral part of our small team, you will be involved in every step of the project lifecycle. You will assume full-cycle responsibilities, moving seamlessly from initial site analysis and conceptual design to the rigorous development of Construction Drawing Sets (Projetos de Execução) and active on-site supervision.
Key Requirements (Format as a bulleted list):
Full-Cycle Execution: Ability to manage and execute all phases of a project, ensuring the conceptual design intent is fiercely protected through to the final build.
Regulatory Expertise: Strong working knowledge of the Portuguese licensing framework, including the RJUE. You must be registered as an effective member with the Ordem dos Arquitectos (OA) in Portugal.
Language Proficiency: Professional fluency in both Portuguese and English is required to ensure clear, precise communication with our international clients, local municipal entities, and on-site construction teams.
Technical & Conceptual Balance: Strong conceptual design sensibilities paired with the technical precision required for comprehensive 2D detailing and material resolution.
Contextual Understanding: Experience or strong interest in the realities of building on steep Madeiran terrain.
Editorial Clarity: A clean, structural approach to documentation, avoiding visual clutter in favor of constructible clarity.
Collaboration: A high degree of autonomy and the ability to work closely within a small, focused team that values architectural integrity.
