One of the main challenges was adapting the house to a steep site while complying with local regulations.
The volume is arranged to create privacy while maintaining a strong connection to the surrounding landscape.

This modern villa in Madeira was designed to respond to the site’s topography, the municipality conditions, the hydraulic conditions and maximize ocean views, creating a contemporary and functional home.

Project Status: In the licensing phase.
This project transforms an existing structure in ruins into a modern two-bedroom home, blending rustic character with bold contemporary design.
The existing ground-floor stone walls were carefully preserved and restored to anchor the home to its natural surroundings.
A blue-hued upper extension was designed to expand the bedroom areas, featuring expansive glazing to maximize natural light and views.

This minimalist house rises gracefully amid nature. Uninterrupted views of greenery greet visitors, with a heated backyard pool reflecting the sky and foliage. Clean architectural lines exude timeless elegance, while large windows invite natural light and fresh air inside.

After removing the remains of the old house, we designed a modern, simple home that fits naturally into the surroundings.
Every part of the design was planned with the couple’s needs and ideas in mind.
